Identify your intention
Each session begins grounded with intention so you’re always moving in the direction in which you want to go.
Learn to listen to yourself
Life coaching is not advice. It’s deep listening followed by powerful questions that help clients learn to listen to knowing within.
Practice creativity
Guided creative practice helps you find out what works for you and what doesn’t, so you waste less time on things that don’t work.
Find liberation…nbd
Discover the freedom and power of presence with meditation, embodied coaching, breathwork and yoga.
WILD OPEN
philosophy
YOU are the expert on YOUR life. Our work is about developing the skill of listening to Self, building a quality relationship with Self, and finally, moving forward with a sense of self-trust that allows for constant creative response to whatever life throws at you. It’s the path to a rich and full existence with space to breathe.
Starting with your first session, the subtle, beautiful work of transformation begins.
Through life coaching sessions, yoga + meditation, and creative practice we work together to discover what’s working and what’s not. It’s a gentle process that can feel slow when you’re in it, but when you look back on the past 3-, 6-, or 12-month time period, it’s an obvious, seismic shift.

Michelle Whipple is a board-certified physician associate, specialized in psychiatric medicine with more than a decade of experience.
She is dedicated to helping patients identify the benefits and limitations of medication treatment, with the goal of finding the best symptom control with the fewest side effects.
Her practice philosophy does not include controlled substances due to the risk of dependence.

The Wild Open philosophy is that when we learn skills and practices that connect us to the essential self, we are liberated to live a unique creative existence.
On a collective level, when we free ourselves, individually, we raise the collective consciousness by giving others permission to do the same.
Curriculum will focus on physical and spiritual wellness, plus creative practice and connection to the essential self.

When I began practicing kundalini yoga in 2018, I was in the midst of a drawn-out divorce and reeling from being asked to leave my life-long religion—all while I worked full-time to support myself and my son.
I had practiced vinyasa yoga on and off since college, but kundalini yoga took me to a new level. It’s a deeply meditative practice that continues to help me connect with my spiritual self in a safe, neutral space and activate real change in my life.
I’m a KRI-certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, and my passion for the practice lies in its focus on activating creative energy.
Kundalini is the creative energy of the universe that lives in each of us. When we practice kundalini yoga and meditation, we are learning to direct the flow of that energy with intention and focus to come into alignment with our true identity.

No Controlled Substance Practice. My practice philosophy does not include prescribing controlled substances (e.g. benzodiazepines and stimulants). Clients who see this is as a necessary part of their treatment are not a good fit for the practice.
Trauma + Substance Use Disorders. While I have experience with both, I am not specifically trained in substance use recovery or trauma care. Clients dealing with either of these issues are welcome in the Wild Open program, but adjunct, specialized treatment may be recommended or required.
Not a Good Fit for Everyone. Because the Wild Open program is based on my personal philosophy around mental illness/wellness, it is highly personal. Therefore, it will not be a good fit for all people. If it’s determined we are not a good fit by either the practice or the client, the membership will end with a referral to alternative care.

Online Only. For now, all coaching sessions take place online. Michelle is based in San Diego, California, so local clients are encouraged to attend classes and workshops in-person, personal sessions will occur via HIPPA-compliant Zoom unless we've agreed on other specific arrangements.
As the program grows, we hope to move to a physical space.
